  • They looked big but fitted like a glove. I hadn’t seen a picture of the insides prior to buying but the sheepskin is amazing. They really are more cushioned and softer that I’d anticipated. I’m very happy for the stormy weather this weekend to test them out.

  • I love these wellies. Tough and durable. The only pair ever that have not split or leaked in the first year. I just bought a new pair as I wear them so much the grip had worn down and the fleece lining ripped at heels. I have 3 dogs so walk on average 1/12 hours daily, except for dry warm months, and there are not too many in the chilly north east. Good value great boots. At this price one pair a year is value.

  • Bought these just over a year ago and to begin with they were wellie heaven. The first time I’ve had boots with cushioned soles and a step up from my previous standard ‘green wellies’. They were really comfortable and warm, I loved them! Sadly though this didn’t last as the lining created a condensation issue. Possibly this was why it came away from the sole and came apart at the heel within about a month to six weeks. I tried various repair jobs so the boots did last the winter but no longer comfy or as warm as heels were coming into contact with the bald rubber. I’m sure they would be great boots for garden jobs or washing the car but I bought them for dog walking and they weren’t really up to the job.

  • I don’t like doing a review until I have used the product, I am very disiponted in the wellingtons being used for 4 months just about every day walking my dog on the beach. Both wellingtons now have splits in them and also the right boot lining has now come away not what I would expect after 4 months so disipointing.

  • Very comfortable wellingtons. Good fit, having read other reviews I ordered my normal shoe size (5). I was worried that the boots would be too tight with socks but there is plenty room for welly socks. So far I have no problem with the lining coming loose and don’t expect to as the wellingtons go and come off easily. They are comfortable and warm to wear for dog walking in the snow and frost. I walk with a stick so most important of all they have a good grip on icy roads.

  • I walk a lot on beaches so needed some foot wear not affected by salt and sand having killed an expensive pair of well known walking boots. I tried ordinary wellingtons and found them uncomfortable with my heel riding up every step. These are totally different. I can walk miles in them and they remain very comfortable, with the addition of some long wellington boot socks which I fold the tops over the top of the boots my feet remain warm, dry and comfy. The heel appears to be cushioned and the faux fur lining assist in cushioning as well. A four mile beach walk in these boots leaves me with no soreness or aches whatsoever. The boots have not been affected by the salt water at all. They are ideal for what I want so wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. I take a size 9 and ordered same, the fit is spot on. The adjustable padded top stops the boot rubbing on my leg unlike ordinary wellingtons.

  • I’ve used this make and model of boot for ages and they do get some stick with hill climbing and mining (one extreme to another).
They are very flexible and are not a strain at all to wear, I’d actually say that they are as comfortable as a walking boot. I can easily walk miles without getting any leg strain caused through the welly and more importantly they do not rub or cause blisters/sores (common problem with cheaper wellies if worn for long walks).
I’ve had them wet inside from wading through too deep water quite a number of times and they do dry out well in the airing cupboard and the sole doesn’t seem to degrade noticeably (as long as you do dry them out), also the wool feeling inner liner is dead warm in the winter. Currently I’m getting around 4 years out of a set with a lot of walking over rocky terrain and crawling through tunnels etc so they last very well!
The size was perfect for me, I’m a UK10, and that was the size I ordered and received – they fit just right for me with normal work socks.

I’ll be having more of these when I’ve worn this set out, wouldn’t consider any other as these are excellent and comfy.
