I am so happy to have found a country boot with a zip, I have a high instep and just cannot get my foot into a “pull on” boot. I also have a slightly wider calf than some boots will accommodate, but again these fit well with a little room to spare round my calf. I usually wear size 6 in shoes but always size up to a 7 in boots because of getting them on with my high instep, so I did the same with these, and they fit comfortably, not too big at all. They are warm and waterproof. The reason for only 4 stars is they are not 100% a matching pair, the suede on one boot is slightly lighter than the other, but that’s just me being super observant. But overall I am very happy with the boots and the price. Great for cold, wet, muddy walks.
As expected and excellent for the money. Nothing not to like. I have widish calf and high instep and ordered a 7 even though I am really 6.5. Fitted great. Beautifully made. Cannot fault them. I bought a pair last week as well! Thanks

Classy timeless gorgeous boots.. didn’t want to write this review because I would prefer people not to know how nice they are..I’m usually a size 41 in the UK but sizing does vary so Amazon suggestions was the size 8/ 42 which actually was a perfect fit..if it helps Im a Next shoe size 7/41.
