Postage and Packaging

P&P for Parcelforce and Royal Mail delivery within MAINLAND UK

Goods under the value of £24.00 will be delivered by Royal Mail. Class of service will be 1 st class signed for unless you choose one of the Parcelforce options at the checkout. Our standard Royal Mail rate is £5.00. This amount will default to this at the checkout, but if we know the item will weigh less than 1.250kg then we will reduce the p&p costs accordingly when we process your order.

Goods exceeding the value of £24.00 will be delivered by Parcelforce. You will have the option of either standard 24 hour at £8.00 or standard 48 hour at £7.00. Please select your preferred option at the checkout. For larger orders, goods up to the weight of 30kg can be sent for one postal charge provided they can be packaged in one box. Goods exceeding 30kg in weight and orders packaged in more than one box will incur multiple charges depending upon the number of parcels (i.e 3 boxes will incur 3 times the standard rate of the preferred delivery option). Saturday deliveries will incur a surcharge of £12.00.

Parcels sent by both Parcelforce and Royal Mail will require a signature upon delivery, so please advise of any special delivery requests (i.e please leave in shed) in the special instructions box. Parcels sent by both Parcelforce and Royal Mail are trackable.

P&P for Parcelforce and Royal Mail delivery to SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS & ISLES, ISLE OF MAN, CHANNEL ISLANDS and NORTHERN IRELAND

When ordering online, the postal charges automatically default to the UK mainland costs as detailed above. We reserve the right to add a postage surcharge to your order if your delivery postal code falls into one listed below:-

BT, GY, HS, JE, KA27-28, KW, IM, IV, PA20-49, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, TR21-25, ZE

Surcharges as follows:-

Northern Ireland - £4.50

Scottish Highlands & Isles - £6.00

Isle of Man & Channel Isles - £10.00

For deliveries to these areas Royal Mail Standard Parcel can be used as an alternative to Parcelforce, but please allow 4-5 working days for delivery. The weight of the parcel will define the cost of delivery. Parcels over 2kg in weight cost £8.50 and parcels weighing under 2kg £6.50. As a general rule, wellies size 6 & over (once packaged) weigh in excess of 2kg. Parcels sent by Royal Mail Standard Parcels are not trackable. If you would prefer to use this method please state in the special instructions box that you require “Non Mainland UK Royal Mail Delivery”.

Worldwide Delivery

We do deliver overseas but as wellies are bulky items and are of varying styles and weights, it is impossible to give an accurate standardised rate on our online ordering. The cost of parcels sent overseas depends upon the weight of the parcel and its destination. We will be happy to assist you with overseas delivery, and ask that you email us with your requirements giving the style and size you require, together with a full postal address. We will then be able to get the correct pair weighed and contact you with an accurate postal charge. If you are making a multiple order it may be possible to reduce postage by splitting one parcel into two, as two smaller lighter parcels may cost less than one larger heavier one, depending on where the parcel is going. If you are planning on making a multiple purchase, we will always weigh out all the options to ensure you are getting the best possible postal rate.

Delivery

Orders are processed and despatched Monday – Friday. The Parcelforce collection is daily at 11am. Any orders received before 10.30am will be processed and despatched the same day. Orders received after this time will be processed and despatched the next working day. Orders placed after 10.30am on Friday will be processed and despatched the following Monday. Any orders to be delivered by Royal Mail will be processed and despatched in a similar manner to the Parcelforce deliveries. If you require an item urgently and you have missed the deadline for same day despatch, please contact us as we may be able to assist although we cannot guarantee next day delivery. Please note, next day delivery by Royal Mail may incur additional charges.

Please contact us if you have not received your order within the expected timescale. If any items are out of stock we will inform you of the expected delay. Orders paid by cheque will not be despatched until the cheque has cleared. Please therefore allow up to 10 working days to receive your order.

Returns

If you are unhappy with your purchase please inform us as soon as possible. We can refund or exchange the product, providing it is returned to us in perfect condition within 14 days. If any item was damaged upon receipt please let us know within 24 hours of delivery. To return any items please re-pack them and send to:- Wonderful Wellies, West Kyloe, Beal, Berwick upon Tweed TD15 2PG. Please retain your proof of postage as we cannot take responsibility for lost goods in return post. Items are returned at the customers cost which will be refunded if the goods are faulty. If returning for a different style or size please enclose a cheque to cover the exchange postage.
